DIY Fringe Necklace

Ingredients:
Fringe (scraps from a leftover DIY)
Hot glue
Needle
Thread
Necklace clasps
I hate to see pretty scraps lie around and not be put to use. Since I finished one of my most recent DIYs which included an old pair of shorts, I had alot of fringe left over. Instead of giving it away so soon, I decided to make a new neck piece. I just love how fun fringe gives an elongated and flowy look both at the same time. I can definitely see me wearing this more often then should be allowed.

Makeover DIY: Damaged black flats
I guess one night I was partying too hard (Actually, I was just walking down the street) and one of the bows on my beloved black flats popped right off. These pair of shoes have gotten me from A to B in comfort and style and I refuse to throw them away SO I took it as a chance to give them a make over.

With a little E6000 glue, inspiration and gems bought from the local crafts store, I was able to create these beauties.

Comfortable and cute and perfect for the weekdays in school or work.

And todays work.
My sister is getting married June 9th and today we went with her to her bridal photoshoot. The photo shoot was located at Chateau Cocomar, a beautiful European-esque fortress complete with high arched ceilings and amazing floor to ceiling windows. Needless to say it went perfect, the shots were beautiful and the photographer complimented my ‘good eye’ and offered to take my prom pictures for free as a graduation gift in the same location (score!)
A happy bride is a good bride.

Hello from your long lost blogger
I’ve been on the longest blogger hiatus in the history of blogger hiatus. I’ve apologized many times before without any changes so this time I’ll say why I haven’t. Simply put, I lost two lived ones last fall. I put off my responsibilities for awhile because I was obviously mourning. For as long as I was mourning no one told me when it was time to move on it would be hard to get your motivation back. What I did already know was that no one can truly motivate you but you. All I ask is be patient with me as I try to get myself back together.
